Urban elegance, Surbiton, Surrey

This elegant period house is home to a young family. First, we changed the layout significantly to make it more suited to family life and then we focused on creating a welcoming, relaxed, understated and practical home. The owners were keen to respect the existing architectural features and we subtly incorporated some beautiful Chinese paintings and artefacts to reflect the husband’s background.

Contemporary living, Long Ditton, Surrey

The owners of this significantly extended 1930’s cottage asked me to create an elegant, luxurious, impressive and modern home. We wanted to honour the original architecture of the house while successfully integrating more recent extensions. They have built up a mixture of architectural and furniture styles over the years and my challenge was to make old and new work in harmony, where modern classic meets contemporary wow!

Edwardian family home, Claygate, Surrey

An Edwardian detached house in Surrey, which I gradually restored while undertaking my formal training in interior design. I was keen to retain as many period features as possible and incorporate my love of nature using spring and summer colours. The sea and coastal homes also inspired me, so I adapted their influence to work within an urban setting.

Elegant period townhouse, West London

This is an ongoing project to complete the renovation of a beautiful three-storey period townhouse in West London. My initial focus was on the creation of an elegant and luxurious ensuite bathroom, reflecting the owner’s love of neutral colours, clean, simple lines and natural materials. Next in line were the family bathroom and their young daughter’s room. I’ll post more images as we work our way through the refurbishment…

Country house living, Peaslake, Surrey Hills

We rejuvenated this stunning traditional English country house by introducing modern pieces and classic colours to treasured family antiques. This created a properly lived-in home that is firmly of today for a young fun family with four children, two dogs and a cat.
